Are there images taken through a microscope, with the help of a close-up lens or a macro lens? Through an electron microscope or a magnifying glass? 
Or are the details of an image which was enlarged several times? 
The origin is completely irrelevant. The viewer does not have to worry about the actual motif. The only important thing is to stimulate thinking. What does the viewer recognize? What does the viewer see? When do the miniatures start moving in his mind's eye? Which own experiences and which own knowledge leads to which visual insight?
